Greenfoot Energy Solutions is seeking a motivated, customer-focused individual to join our sales team as a Home Comfort Advisor, serving the Sydney and Cape Breton, NS region. Responsibilities
- Respond to company-generated leads and conduct in-home appointments with homeowners, completing comprehensive in-home assessments to identify opportunities for energy efficiency improvements including insulation, ventilation, heating and cooling systems, and solar energy solutions.
- Access and assess restrictive or confined areas such as attics and crawl spaces to evaluate existing conditions and performance.
- Prepare detailed and accurate quotes.
- Establish and maintain strong rapport with customers to understand their specific home comfort concerns, energy efficiency goals, and priorities.
- Conduct follow-ups with prospective customers to answer questions, provide additional information, and support homeowners in making informed purchasing decisions.
- Utilize CRM tools to manage client information effectively.
- Stay informed about industry trends and new technologies.
- Support marketing initiatives and brand awareness efforts by participating in industry events, trade shows, and community outreach activities.
Qualifications
- Positive personality with a genuine desire to educate and help the consumer is a must.
- A personable and professional demeanor with a willingness to learn and grow our company.
- A team player who can add positive energy and ideas to cultivate our company culture.
- Ability to provide sound advice through an existing knowledge in building science and HVAC.
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
- Comfortable and efficient at using laptops, iPads, and smartphone technology.
- Ability to provide sound advice based on knowledge of building science and HVAC, along with prior sales experience, strong communication skills, and a proven ability to close, will be considered an asset.
Compensation & Earnings Potential
This role offers a competitive base salary combined with a performance-based commission structure.
- Expected total annual earnings: $50,000 – $90,000 based on performance
- Uncapped commission structure, allowing high performers to exceed this range
