Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated Executive Chef to lead our culinary team and oversee all kitchen operations. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in food preparation, cooking, and restaurant management. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for creating innovative menus, supervising kitchen staff, working with food and labour cost and and ensuring the highest standards of quality and service are maintained.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to safety standards
- Lead and supervise culinary staff, including cooks and kitchen assistants, fostering a positive team environment
- Develop and implement creative menus that align with brand standards and customer preferences
- Ensure all food preparation and cooking meet quality and presentation standards
- Manage inventory, ordering supplies, and controlling food costs to optimize profitability
- Maintain strict compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation procedures
- Train staff on proper food handling, safety protocols, and service techniques
- Collaborate with front-of-house management to ensure seamless service delivery
- Monitor customer feedback and address any issues promptly to uphold excellent hospitality standards
Experience
- Extensive background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in the food industry
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively
- Experience in restaurant management, including menu development, inventory control, and staff training
- Familiarity with serving techniques and delivering exceptional guest experience
- Excellent communication skills
Pay: $60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
