Responsibilities
- Assist lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards
- Support children’s learning and development through engaging activities, play, and supervision
- Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment that encourages exploration and creativity
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members to promote a supportive atmosphere
- Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities and providing personalized assistance
- Participate in classroom routines such as snack time, outdoor play, nap times, and transitions
- Use computer skills to document observations, update records, and communicate with team members as needed
Requirements
- Fluency in English.
- Prior experience working with children or in childcare settings is highly desirable
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and child development best practices
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or in special education settings is advantageous
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, families, and colleagues
- Classroom experience demonstrating organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while demonstrating leadership qualities when needed
- Excellent time management skills to support daily routines and activities
