Achieving Excellence:
As a Quality Leader will be responsible for managing and overseeing the quality assurance and quality control processes within the Food and Beverage Department. The primary responsibilities are to ensure that the services and processes meet the established quality standards and fulfill our guest expectations.
Key Focuses
- Provide on-going training opportunities as needed to ensure quality service, technical skills, food and beverage standards, and safety procedures in Two Trees Bistro Outlets; including refresher training as needed.
- Assist in training new hires during the training period, following necessary resources, such as departmental tours, departmental on-floor checklists, and training manuals.
- To perform the same duties of restaurant servers, bartenders and attendants; will volunteer to take less tables to observe and correct training needs on the floor or as necessary.
- Works closely with Two Trees Bistro Outlets Manager in a supportive and flexible manner, focusing on the overall success of the Nordic Spa and the satisfaction of all guests; including identifying training needs, opportunities, and any new training programs that would assist in improving the development of the team.
- Attend Two Trees Bistro departmental meeting and speak about current opportunities to correct training needs.
- Direct and lead the day-to-day Two Trees Bistro operations, ensuring daily tasks are assigned and checklists are completed
- Monitor and maintain the physical environment, always ensuring cleanliness and organization
- Demonstrate pride in work by creating positive energy, teamwork, excitement, and fun
- Meet the demands of a fast-paced environment through personal empowerment, using good judgment and the ability to multi-task
- Demonstrate exceptional follow-up abilities and ownership of tasks assigned with a strong attention to detail
- Manage any incidents that may occur on shift and if necessary, escalate to leader on duty
- Acknowledge all guests, anticipate their needs, and respond promptly
- Effectively handle guest comments and feedback both in person and in writing, with an ability to identify and resolve any concerns
- Have complete understanding of and adhere to all company policies, procedures, and standards

Experience/Passions/Education
- Must attend the following internal training programs; Train the Trainer, F&B in-class Training and Leadership Orientation
- Dynamic, enthusiastic individual who thrives under pressure and is able to perform multiple functions
- Assertive, detailed orientated and can identify training needs and gaps
- Always professional; turns challenges into positive outcomes, leads by example, and embodies our Core Values
- 1-2 years, minimum preferred of food and beverage serving experience
- Highly health and safety conscious, committed to a safe work environment

Working Conditions
This position operates in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with frequent interaction with guests, team members, and other stakeholders. Due to 365-day-a-year operations, this position will require you work a variety of shifts including early mornings, late evenings, weekends and holidays and may involve extended hours during periods of high business demand. A portion of the role is performed outdoors in the fresh mountain air, with exposure to a wide range of weather conditions, including temperatures from -30°C to +30°C. The position involves frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, pushing, and pulling, as well as occasional use of ladders, stairs, or ramps. The employee must be able to lift up to 30 lbs as required.
