Shipper/Receiver & 5Ton Driver in peak seasons – cold environment
Responsibilities to include, but not limited to;
- Prepares receiving/shipping dock for incoming and outgoing product
- Stages, verifies, loads and unloads product (lifting up to 55lbs)
- Inspect incoming shipments for completeness
- Put product away to designated warehouse location, record any movement of product within the warehouse
- Record relevant information on internal receiving documents
- Delivery and pick up of product from specified locations in a 5-Ton truck
- Assist with yard and warehouse organization and housekeeping
- Follow Health and Safety policies as outlined
Required Skills;
- Previous experience working in a shipping/receiving environment is an asset
- Previous forklift experience is preferred, but training and certification will be provided
- Proven communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly motivated with positive attitude and the ability to work within a team environment
- Organized and detail oriented
- Ability to work long hours as needed
- Proficient in spoken and written English
Applicants must have reliable transportation as we are located outside of city limits.
Steel-toed safety boots are required.
