We are looking for an energetic and team-oriented part-time pizza maker/cook to join our wonderful team @ 561 Broadway, Vancouver and 701 Park Royal N, West Vancouver.
Must have experience at making pizza.
As a pizza cook, you will collaborate with your teammates to prepare pizzas, sides and salads up to our standard. A sense of urgency is an asset because we strive to ensure that every customer order is prepared with consistency and efficiency. Either part-time or full-time options are available.
The ideal candidate has some experience at pizza making, is comfortable working at a fast-pace and is a team-player.
Responsibilities/Duties:
- Stretch and make/decorate pizzas and sides following the menu specifications
- Cook pizza and sides in the brick oven
- Rotate, refill pizza making ingredients
- Help the kitchen team with preparation and cleaning when needed
- Occasionally help front customer service during busy times
- Maintain the workspace clean and organized, sweep and mop when required
- Operate according to the FoodSafety and health standards
- Ensure great and consistent presentation before pizzas and sides are served
- Ensure all food and other items are stored properly
- Cross Training will be provided for prep duties
Requirements:
- Work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Stand and walk for the length of the shift
- Lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Work in a fast-paced environment with a calm and collaborative attitude
- Ability to communicate in English
- Experience needed, preferably with Neapolitan-style pizza
