Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking General Labourer to join our team. The ideal candidate will perform a variety of manual tasks to support ongoing projects and ensure smooth operations across the worksite. This role offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic environment, contributing to the completion of construction, maintenance, or manufacturing tasks.
Responsibilities
- Assist with loading and unloading materials and equipment
- Prepare work sites by cleaning, clearing debris, and setting up necessary tools and supplies
- Support skilled tradespeople by holding, lifting, or moving materials as needed
- Operate basic hand tools and machinery following safety protocols
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Follow safety guidelines and report any hazards or incidents promptly
- Perform general physical tasks such as digging, lifting, carrying, and stacking materials
Requirements
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions effectively
- Prior experience in manual labour or construction is a plus but not required
- Strong work ethic with attention to safety procedures
- Ability to work as part of a team and take direction from supervisors
- Must be 18 years or older
- Reliable transportation is preferred but not mandatory depending on the location of work sites
