Responsibilities
- Efficiently wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment using commercial-grade cleaning tools and methods
- Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas, including floors, work surfaces, sinks, and storage spaces
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including basic chopping, portioning, or organizing ingredients under supervision
- Support the food service team by ensuring all items are sanitized and ready for use during busy service periods
- Follow strict food handling and safety procedures to prevent contamination and uphold hygiene standards
- Help with waste disposal and recycling processes to keep the kitchen tidy and environmentally friendly
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during peak hours
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning or hospitality environments is highly desirable
- Familiarity with restaurant or hotel kitchen operations enhances your ability to adapt quickly
