Applicants are invited from qualified individuals to instruct in the Access to Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program at North Island College (NIC). The Access to BSN program is offered in partnership with Vancouver Island University.
The sessional instructional assignment, up to 100%, involves teaching the practice course NUR 276: Consolidated Practice Experience II cohort of Access to BSN students using a face-to-face delivery method with a Comox Valley and/or Campbell River practice agency.

Note: Candidates must have current clinical expertise and experience in Adult Medicine and/or Adult Surgery area of practice. Practicum placements will take place in a variety of practice settings and may require travel. Applicants need to have a valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.
The successful candidate will implement creative strategies in the preparation and delivery of practice course activities; use initiative in providing documentation and follow-up with regard to student concerns and problem resolution; and bring facilitation skills to management of conflict. The schedule for this assignment will be flexible to meet the needs of the program.
