Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Full Time Night Auditor (11PM-7AM) to join our team at our new Studio 6 hotel in Fort Frances. The Night Auditor plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the front desk during overnight shifts, providing exceptional customer service while performing essential accounting and administrative tasks. This position is ideal for individuals with a background in hospitality management and a passion for guest relations.
Duties
- Perform night audit functions, including balancing daily transactions and preparing financial reports.
- Provide outstanding customer service by addressing guest inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring overall satisfaction.
- Manage front desk operations, including check-ins and check-outs, while maintaining accurate guest records.
- Handle multi-line phone systems with professionalism and effective phone etiquette to assist guests promptly.
- Ensure the security of the hotel premises during overnight hours, monitoring access points and responding to any incidents.
- Collaborate with other departments to facilitate seamless guest experiences and maintain high hospitality standards.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the front desk area and lobby.
Requirements
- Previous experience in hotel management or a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction.
- Familiarity with night audit procedures and accounting principles is advantageous.
- Proficient in using multi-line phone systems and other front desk technology.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with strong attention to detail.
