Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cabinet Maker to join our custom fireplace mantel and cabinetry team. This position is ideal for someone with a passion for precision woodworking and a proven track record in crafting and installing high-quality woodwork. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of hands-on experience, be proficient with table saws, and have a strong ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret and work from blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to meet exact project requirements.
- Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wooden components using table saws, hand tools, and woodworking machinery.
- Sand, finish, and prepare wood surfaces for painting and installation.
- Assemble custom cabinets, shelves, millwork, and mantels for residential and commercial settings.
- Conduct quality checks and make necessary adjustments to ensure the highest craftsmanship standards.
- Collaborate with designers, and clients to ensure project goals are met accurately and on time.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment and follow all health and safety procedures.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Cabinet Maker or in a similar woodworking role.
- Proficient with table saws and a wide range of woodworking tools and machinery.
- Strong understanding and practical experience in reading and interpreting blueprints and construction drawings.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional vocational training or apprenticeship in woodworking is a plus.
- Exceptional attention to detail and craftsmanship.
- Ability to work independently or collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting and working on-site as required.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour
