Program: The Aspire Preschool Program at The Yarrow Centre
Tentative Start Date (dependent on finalizing licensing for the space): Training and set-up for our new, beautiful facility will begin on August 24th, 2026, with children entering the program on September 1st, 2026.
Wage: $28–$32 per hour (starting salary, based on experience and qualifications, including wage enhancement)
Job Description
Aspire Preschool is seeking an experienced Early Childhood Educator with a passion for and commitment to providing quality care and education to neurodiverse learners.
Aspire Preschool provides a highly supported, small-group early learning environment for neurodiverse learners. Our program integrates early childhood education with individualized, clinically supervised intervention.
Each child has an individualized program supervised weekly by a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) and a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). We are committed to delivering high-quality, inclusive programming within a nurturing preschool setting.

Key Responsibilities
- Support Aspire Preschool children and support the early learning program
- Support children using a trauma-informed, relationship-based approach
- Collaborate closely with team members and clinical professionals
- Follow individualized intervention plans within a preschool setting
- Build and maintain positive relationships with children and families
- Plan and implement engaging, high-quality early learning programs
- Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children feel a sense of belonging
- Implement holistic, inclusive, and developmentally appropriate programming
- Supervision and mentorship of practicum students (beginning in 2027)
- Complete data tracking and documentation to support individualized programming
- Use visual supports and structured visual systems to enhance learning and communication
- Support children using AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) devices
- Consistently implement individualized intervention plans as directed by clinical supervisors
Qualifications & Requirements
- Valid Early Childhood Educator (ECE) certification
- Valid First Aid certification
- Criminal Record Check required
- Preference will be given to applicants with an ECE Certificate or ECE Special Needs Educator (SNE) Certificate
- Preference will be given to educators with experience supporting neurodiverse learners
