Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Stair Installer/Helper to join our construction team. This role involves assisting with the installation of staircases, working alongside experienced carpenters and construction professionals. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, basic construction knowledge, be physically fit and have a willingness to learn new skills in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Assist with measuring, cutting, and assembling stair components according to project specifications.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely to perform tasks such as drilling, cutting, and fastening materials
- Read blueprints and schematics to understand project requirements
- Carry heavy materials and equipment safely to designated work areas
- Maintain a clean and organized job site by removing debris and ensuring safety protocols are followed
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects
- Follow instructions from supervisors and contribute to quality workmanship on each project
Qualifications
- Prior construction experience preferred but not required; willingness to learn on the job is essential
- Basic knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and construction safety practices
- Ability to read blueprints or schematics
- Experience with carpentry, woodworking, or framing is advantageous
- Physical ability to lift heavy loads, perform heavy lifting tasks, and stand for extended periods
- Strong work ethic with attention to detail and safety awareness
- Reliable transportation and punctuality are necessary for consistent job site attendance
- Possess a valid G Driver's License
- Experience driving vans and cube trucks

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
