What we are looking for
We are currently seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Junior Procurement Analyst. As a key member of the procurement team, you will be responsible for ensuring purchase orders are sent to the vendor on time and arrive as expected. Additionally, you will play a key role in ensuring the correct reporting is prepared and reviewed to ensure the successful completion of the customers orders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing purchase orders & notifying vendors of PO changes
- Updating and maintaining delivery dates
- Contacting vendors concerning rate adjustments or shipment of incorrect materials
- Verifying invoices for SKU discrepancies
- Preparing various purchasing/inventory related reports
- Contributing / participating in year end inventory counts
Preferred Requirements:
- Proficient in MS Excel and other office programs
- Applied knowledge of inventory management and logistics;
- Purchasing Management Association of Canada (PMAC) designation a definite asset.
- Superior communication skills
- Ability to work with cross functional teams
Pay: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
