Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Machine Operator/General Labour to join our manufacturing team. This role involves operating various machinery, performing assembly and fabrication tasks, and supporting overall production processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, experience with CNC equipment, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This position offers opportunities for growth within the manufacturing sector and requires a detail-oriented approach to ensure quality standards are met.
Duties
- Operate CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, press brake machines, and other manufacturing equipment with precision.
- Program and troubleshoot Fanuc controls and programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
- Read blueprints and technical drawings to accurately assemble parts using hand tools, calipers, and other measuring instruments.
- Perform welding tasks as needed to support fabrication projects.
- Conduct quality control inspections to ensure parts meet specifications using calipers, micrometers, and other measurement tools.
- Maintain proper documentation of production activities and machine settings.
- Assist in packaging finished products for shipment while adhering to safety standards.
- Support warehouse operations including loading/unloading materials with forklift (if certified) and organizing inventory.
- Follow safety protocols at all times, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Experience
- Prior experience operating CNC machinery such as CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, or CNC programming is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with CAD software like SolidWorks for part design or modifications is a plus.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes including machining, welding, assembly, and blueprint reading.
- Experience working with hand tools, calipers, basic math skills for measurements and calculations, and quality control procedures.
- Warehouse experience including forklift operation (certification preferred) is advantageous.
- Mechanical knowledge related to manufacturing equipment and processes is essential for success in this role.

Pay: $19.00-$27.17 per hour
