We are looking for a Junior Construction Project Coordinator to coordinate project activities, including simple tasks and larger plans. You will coordinate schedules, arrange assignments and communicate progress to all team members.
Project Coordinator responsibilities include preparing action plans, analyzing risks and opportunities and gathering necessary resources. For this role, you will work with our management team, so good communication and collaboration skills are essential.
Ultimately, you will ensure our projects meet quality standards and are completed on time and within budget.
This is an entry level position and we are willing to train the right candidate.
A large part of this position is being well organized. Being organized at work is crucial for productivity and efficiency. It involves effectively managing time, resources, and tasks to prioritize and accomplish goals, resulting in a streamlined workflow and reduced stress levels.
This position will also be responsible for answering the phones and communicating with suppliers / sub-trades when in the office; therefore, good oral communication skills is required.
Some construction experience of any kind is required to ensure an understanding of how construction projects progress.

- Create and update workflow

- Prepare and provide documentation to both internal and external teams
- Order resources, like equipment and materials
- Retrieve necessary information (e.g. user/client requirements)
- Track expenses and predict future costs
- Monitor project progress and address potential issues
- Coordinate quality controls to ensure projects meet requirements
- Measure and report on project performance
- Act as the point of contact for all participants
- Knowledge of project management software (Microsoft Project) is an asset
