Home Coffee Solutions is a proudly Canadian, family-owned business bringing exceptional coffee experiences to homes and businesses across Canada. We specialize in premium coffee machines, espresso equipment, and service. As we grow, we’re looking for a skilled, motivated technician to join our operations team.
The Role
Our Service Technicians diagnose, repair, install, and maintain home and commercial coffee and espresso machines. You’ll work directly with customers and our operations team — both in our shop and on-site across the GTA — and play a central role in delivering the quality service our customers count on.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on home and commercial coffee and espresso machines
- Assist with equipment installations and programming at customer sites across the GTA
- Communicate professionally with customers regarding repair status, timelines, and service questions
- Keep accurate service records including parts usage and work reports
- Support warehouse, logistics, and inventory tasks as needed
- Meet service level agreements and performance targets for timely completion
- Keep the VP of Operations informed on workload, timelines, and service issues
- Follow all safety procedures and contribute to a positive team environment
What We’re Looking For
We’re open to strong candidates from a range of technical backgrounds. If you can read a schematic, trace a fault, and fix it — we want to hear from you. Experience in any of the following translates well to this role:
- Coffee or espresso machine repair / appliance servicing
- HVAC, refrigeration, or plumbing
- Electrical or electro-mechanical systems
- Field service, maintenance, or facilities technician roles
You’ll also bring:
- Solid mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Strong communication and a customer-first attitude
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to juggle multiple tasks
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset with the drive to do great work
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Willingness to travel to customer sites across the Greater Toronto Area
Nice to Have
- Coffee machine experience — direct experience with espresso or coffee equipment repair is a strong asset
- Familiarity with brands like La Marzocco, Jura, Breville, Eversys, or similar
- Barista training or coffee industry background
- French-language proficiency (bilingual is a strong asset)
