Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Sheet Metal Worker to join our construction and restoration team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fabricating, installing, and repairing sheet metal components across various projects. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse tasks including blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and working with a variety of hand tools. Candidates should have a strong background in construction-related trades and be committed to maintaining high safety and quality standards.
Duties
- Fabricate sheet metal components according to project specifications using hand tools and power tools.
- Instal ductwork for Heating and cooling units, Air exchanagers . Geo thermal units
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure precise fabrication and installation.
- Install, repair, and maintain sheet metal systems in residential, commercial, or industrial settings.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and within safety guidelines.
- Maintain a clean work environment and properly store tools and materials after use.
Qualifications
- Proven experience with hand tools, schematics reading, blueprint interpretation, and construction techniques.
- Knowledge of carpentry, caulking, welding, plumbing, flooring installation, tile laying, restoration work, and construction painting is highly desirable.
- Ability to read technical drawings such as schematics for precise fabrication and installation.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols related to construction sites and sheet metal work.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to changing project requirements.
- Physical stamina to perform manual tasks including lifting heavy materials and working in various environmental conditions.
- Prior experience in construction or related trades is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for qualified candidates eager to learn new skills. Pay: $20.87-$46.59 per hour
