Job Overview
We are seeking a vigilant and professional Bouncer/Doorman/woman to ensure the safety and security of our venue, staff, and patrons. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment, managing entry points, and providing excellent customer service. This role requires a strong presence, excellent judgment, and the ability to handle challenging situations with professionalism. Prior experience in law enforcement, surveillance, or loss prevention is highly desirable.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and control access to the venue, verifying identification and guest lists as needed
- Conduct thorough security checks to prevent prohibited items from entering
- Maintain a visible presence at entry points and throughout the venue to deter misconduct
- Respond promptly and effectively to any disturbances or emergencies
- Use CCTV and surveillance systems to monitor activity within the premises
- Enforce venue policies and ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Collaborate with security team members to coordinate responses to incidents
- Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying suspicious behavior and preventing theft or vandalism
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests professionally and courteously
Skills
- Strong understanding of security protocols and crowd management techniques
- Experience or background in law enforcement, surveillance, or loss prevention preferred
- Proficiency in operating CCTV systems and other surveillance equipment
- Excellent observational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle difficult situations diplomatically
- Good communication skills for interacting with guests, staff, and emergency responders
- Physical fitness to stand for extended periods and respond quickly when necessary
- Professional appearance with a confident demeanor
