Green Bay Infrastructure Group is hiring multiple experienced Wood Harvester Operators to support long-term forestry contracts in Central Newfoundland.
These positions are suited to dependable operators who understand mechanized harvesting, take pride in productive and accurate work, and can operate safely in changing terrain and weather conditions.

Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently operate a wood harvester
- Fell, delimb, measure, and process timber to required specifications
- Complete daily equipment inspections and routine maintenance
- Identify mechanical concerns and report required repairs
- Maintain consistent production while protecting equipment and surrounding timber
- Follow company safety procedures and environmental requirements
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and other equipment operators
- Maintain production and equipment records
- Keep the machine and work area clean, organized, and safe
Qualifications
- Previous wood harvester operating experience is required
- Strong knowledge of mechanized forestry operations
- Ability to process timber accurately and maintain consistent production
- Good mechanical awareness and basic maintenance skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of an operations team
- Willingness to work in remote forestry environments and changing weather conditions
- Strong commitment to safe work practices
- Valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation
- Forestry, first aid, and other relevant safety certifications are considered assets
Pay: $32.00-$36.00 per hour
