Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Kpop & Hip-Hop Dance Instructor / Kpop & Pop Vocal Coach to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching dance and vocal techniques, with a particular focus on Kpop, Hip-Hop, and pop genres. This role involves guiding students of various ages, including children, through engaging lessons that develop their performance skills, confidence, and love for music and dance. The instructor will create a positive learning environment, foster creativity, and inspire students to achieve their personal best.
We have two location: Markham and Thornhill
Must be available to work at both locations on a rotating schedule. Vehicle owners are welcome
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver engaging dance classes focusing on Kpop and Hip-Hop styles tailored to different skill levels
- Provide vocal coaching emphasizing pop singing techniques and performance skills
- Develop customized lesson plans that cater to students’ individual needs and goals
- Foster a supportive and motivating atmosphere for students of all ages, including working with children and early childhood education settings
- Incorporate tutoring methods to enhance students’ understanding of dance movements and vocal techniques
- Prepare students for performances or recitals by rehearsing routines and vocal exercises
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment
- Collaborate with parents or guardians regarding student progress when applicable
- Stay updated on current trends in Kpop, Hip-Hop, and pop music to keep lessons fresh and relevant
Qualifications
- Proven experience in tutoring or teaching dance and vocal classes, preferably within a classroom or group setting
- Strong knowledge of Kpop, Hip-Hop dance styles, and pop vocal techniques
- Experience working with children or in early childhood education is highly desirable
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans that motivate students of diverse backgrounds and skill levels
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to inspire confidence in students
- Creative mindset with the ability to incorporate fun activities like cooking or other interactive methods into lessons when appropriate
- Prior classroom experience is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm for teaching is essential
- Must be patient, adaptable, and passionate about nurturing young talent
