Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook high-quality dishes according to restaurant recipes and standards
- Supervise kitchen staff, including cooks and food service personnel, ensuring efficient workflow
- Manage food inventory, ordering supplies, and maintaining proper storage practices
- Oversee food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene compliance
- Lead menu development and innovate new culinary offerings to enhance guest satisfaction
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area in accordance with health regulations
- Train and mentor team members to improve skills and uphold service excellence
- Ensure timely service during peak hours while maintaining quality standards
- Monitor food costs and manage portion control to optimize profitability
- Uphold leadership in food safety practices and ensure all staff adhere to safety protocols
Skills
- Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food industry best practices
- Excellent team management and leadership abilities
- Extensive restaurant management experience with a focus on kitchen operations
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and safety regulations (including <PERSON> standards)
- Ability to serve guests professionally with excellent customer service skills
- Experience in menu planning, food presentation, and culinary innovation
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Passion for hospitality, culinary arts, and delivering exceptional dining experiences
Pay: $17.20-$20.00 per hour
