We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Sales Assistant to join our retail team. Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products within the store.
- Conduct product demonstrations and explain features to encourage sales.
- Assist with merchandising and maintaining attractive product displays.
- Operate POS systems accurately for transactions, including cash handling and processing payments.
- Upsell related products to maximize sales opportunities.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
- Manage inventory levels and restock shelves as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor and checkout area.
- Utilize effective communication skills to engage with diverse customers, including bilingual interactions if applicable.
- Support team members with various retail tasks, including cashiering and basic math calculations for transactions.
Requirements
- Previous experience in retail sales, customer service, or technology sales is preferred.
- Multilingual or bilingual skills are a plus to serve a diverse customer base.
- Strong communication skills with excellent phone etiquette.
- Ability to perform product demos and explain technical features clearly.
- Organizational skills to manage time effectively during busy periods.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering procedures, and merchandising standards.
- Demonstrated ability to upsell products and enhance sales performance.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
