Driving Finance Transformation
As the Director, ERP – Finance Lead, you will lead the strategic development, implementation, and ongoing optimization of the Finance function within the Dynamics 365 ERP program, spanning General Ledger, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Cash and Bank Management, Fixed Assets, Cost Accounting, Budgeting, Treasury, Financial Reporting, Consolidations, and Tax. Led by the VP, ERP this opportunity will suit someone who has extensive knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations and a strong understanding of business and existing finance processes.

Own end-to-end delivery of the Finance workstream (General Ledger, AP/AR, Cash & Bank Management, Fixed Assets, Cost Accounting, Budgeting, Treasury, Tax, and Financial Reporting) within the ERP program, ensuring solutions meet the needs of the Office of the CFO and Finance business units.

Partner with the program's OCM team to drive change adoption across the Finance organization, communicating effectively with stakeholders from the CFO to front-line Finance users.

Partner closely with Finance leadership, other ERP workstream leads, and the program's Systems Integrator to ensure the Finance solution is cohesively integrated across all ERP modules.

Lead fit-gap analysis and process redesign for core finance processes, embedding strong internal controls, segregation of duties, and audit-readiness into the solution design.

Partner with the program's Data Governance team on Finance master data (chart of accounts, cost centers, legal entities), and own financial reporting design, ensuring data integrity through migration, validation, and go-live.

Lead and develop a team of finance-focused ERP resources, and manage the Finance workstream's scope, budget, timeline, and risks as part of the overall program.

Take full responsibility for the Finance workstream and ensure its successful completion across all functional areas (Project Plan, Data, Requirements, Fit/Gap, Testing, Change, Training, etc.).
We’re looking for:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related discipline with 5-10 years of experience.

CPA required; certifications in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance, Project Management (PMP) or change management (PROSCI) are preferred.

Deep functional knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, including General Ledger, AP/AR, Cash & Bank Management, Fixed Assets, Cost Accounting, Budgeting, Treasury, and Financial Reporting.

Strong understanding of the business and existing finance processes.

Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to review, interpret, and transform complex financial data.

Highly regarded with significant influence among both leadership and colleagues.

Proficiency in clear and persuasive communication, both written and verbal, Strong negotiation skills to manage stakeholder expectations and achieve desired outcomes.

Strong understanding of Canadian accounting standards, internal controls, segregation of duties, and audit/compliance requirements.

Experience managing systems integrator/vendor relationships and third-party delivery teams on large-scale ERP implementations.

An understanding of internal and external customer needs and the ability to design processes that enhance customer satisfaction, always keeping the Dealer impact top of mind.

Ability to adapt to changing business environments and priorities.

The ability to be onsite three days a week at our corporate office in St. Jacobs, to accommodate our hybrid working model.
