As the Sales Manager, you'll lead the daily operations of Dartmouth Mitsubishi's Sales Department while driving vehicle sales, profitability, team performance, and customer satisfaction. You'll play a key role in building a high-performing sales team and establishing the processes that will define our dealership's success.
Responsibilities include:
Leading and motivating the Sales Team to achieve sales volume, gross profit, and customer satisfaction objectives
Coaching, mentoring, and developing Sales Consultants through ongoing training, feedback, and accountability
Ensuring consistent execution of dealership sales processes with professionalism, integrity, and transparency
Managing daily sales activity including leads, appointments, follow-up, and customer engagement
Monitoring sales performance metrics and implementing strategies to improve results
Partnering with the Finance Team to maximize customer satisfaction, finance opportunities, and dealership profitability
Supporting Sales Consultants with negotiations, deal structure, and closing strategies
Ensuring showroom presentation, vehicle merchandising, and lot standards meet dealership expectations
Maintaining accurate CRM usage and lead management processes
Collaborating with Finance, Service, and Parts Departments to deliver a seamless customer experience
Building a positive, accountable, and high-performing sales culture from day one
The ideal candidate:
Has proven automotive sales leadership or dealership management experience
Demonstrates a track record of achieving sales and profitability objectives
Has strong coaching, leadership, and team-building abilities
Is customer-focused with a commitment to integrity and professionalism
Possesses excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
Thrives in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment
Has experience with CRM platforms, Dealer Management Systems (DMS), and sales reporting tools
Understands automotive sales processes, customer engagement, and dealership operations
Holds a valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Previous Sales Manager experience is considered an asset; however, experienced automotive professionals with strong leadership skills and a desire to grow are encouraged to apply.
