ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY – Reporting to the company leaders, you will support multiple elevator installation projects. You work well independently and collaboratively with a wide range of people and require minimal supervision.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Post-Secondary degree in a technical or business field
- 2-3 years’ experience managing construction projects
- Planning and scheduling experience with GCs, peer contractors and suppliers
- Able to effectively manage multiple concurrent projects
- Able to interpret job specifications and mechanical drawings
- Preferred:
- - Previous experience installing a variety of elevator types
- - PMP certification
- - Knowledge of ASME A17.1 - CSA B44 Safety Code for Elevators and Escalators
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Plan, budget, oversee and document new construction projects
- Coordinate drawing submissions and reviews, and ensure specifications meet what was sold
- Meet on site with customers, company foremen and GCs to ensure work is on schedule
- Develop countermeasures for schedule and logistical issues, and track scope changes and their costs
- Ensure drawing approvals meet equipment delivery timelines, compensating for supplier lead time
- Prepare maintenance contracts following project completion and before hand-off to Selco Maintenance
- Be prepared to provide detailed project updates on request, including schedules, costs and any issues
Pay: $70,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
