Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Fast Food Server to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, handling food and beverage orders, and ensuring a clean and welcoming environment. Previous restaurant or food industry experience is preferred, but we are willing to train motivated individuals eager to learn. Responsibilities
- Take customer orders accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS
- Prepare and serve food and beverages according to company standards
- Handle cash transactions with proper cash handling procedures
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen spaces in compliance with food safety regulations
- Provide friendly, attentive customer service, addressing guest inquiries and resolving issues promptly
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met
- Manage multiple tables or orders efficiently during busy periods
- Follow all sanitation, safety, and health guidelines to ensure a safe environment for staff and guests
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly desirable
- Familiarity with food preparation, cashiering, and POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
- Knowledge of food handling, safety procedures, and sanitation standards in the food industry
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse guests
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change accurately
- Experience with upselling menu items to maximize sales opportunities
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced setting
