ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Chemical Delivery Driver to join our team in Richmond, BC. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and timely transportation of chemical products to our customers, ensuring that all deliveries are completed with professionalism and care.
You will be a key part of our logistics operations, acting as the face of our company to our clients. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being on the road, is committed to safety, and takes pride in delivering high-quality service.
What You Will Do
- Safely operate company vehicles to transport chemical products to customer locations
- Load and unload trailers with materials, using forklifts or hand trucks as needed
- Deliver product to customers in a courteous and professional manner
- Complete and maintain accurate records, including delivery logs, mileage, and service hours in accordance with regulations
- Obtain receipts, signatures, and other required delivery documents
- Follow all freight handling specifications and safety protocols
- Wear required personal protective equipment at all times
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and ensure proper maintenance
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the hazards and dangers of the products being transported
- Participate in safety meetings and training programs
- Actively follow and promote our culture of care, putting safety first in every task
What You Bring
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Commercial Driver's License with appropriate endorsements
- Several years of commercial driving experience
- Current medical certification as required by regulations
- Comprehensive knowledge of conducting vehicle inspections and documenting logs
- An engaged safety-first mindset, committed to safe work practices
- Forklift experience is preferred
- Flat deck experience is an asset
- Experience with manual transmission vehicles is often required
- Ability to lift heavy items as needed
- Flexibility to work additional hours as needed to meet business demands

Working Conditions
- Full-time, permanent position
- Work schedule may involve early starts, occasional overtime, and overnight travel as required
