Supervisor – Early Childhood Education Centre
We are currently seeking a passionate, experienced, and motivated Supervisor to lead our early childhood education team in creating a safe, nurturing, inclusive, and engaging learning environment for children, families, and staff.

Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Support
- Provide daily leadership, guidance, and mentorship to classroom educators and support staff
- Foster a positive, professional, and collaborative team environment
- Support staff in classroom management, child guidance strategies, and inclusive practices
- Assist with staff training, onboarding, scheduling, and ongoing professional development
- Promote open communication and strong teamwork throughout the centre
Program & Classroom Oversight
- Oversee daily classroom operations to ensure high-quality programming and smooth centre functioning
- Ensure activities are developmentally appropriate, engaging, and aligned with curriculum expectations
- Support educators in planning enriching experiences that encourage creativity, independence, social-emotional growth, and inclusion
- Monitor classroom environments to ensure they remain safe, organized, welcoming, and compliant with licensing standards
Child & Family Support
- Build strong, respectful relationships with children, families, and community partners
- Support the developmental and emotional needs of all children, including children with diverse learning and behavioral needs
- Collaborate with educators and families to develop individualized support strategies where required
- Observe and document children’s developmental progress, milestones, and areas of concern
- Address behavioral, developmental, or classroom concerns in a professional and timely manner
Compliance & Administration
- Ensure compliance with all licensing regulations, health and safety standards, and organizational policies
- Maintain accurate documentation, incident reports, and classroom records
- Support centre operations and administrative responsibilities as needed
- Uphold confidentiality and professionalism at all times
Qualifications & Experience Required:
- Previous experience working in an early childhood education or child care setting
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- Experience supervising, mentoring, or supporting staff teams
- Knowledge of child development, classroom management, and inclusive practices
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Current Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC)
- Valid First Aid & CPR Certification
- Up-to-date immunizations as required
Preferred:
- Experience supporting children with diverse developmental, behavioral, or additional needs
- Previous supervisory or management experience in a licensed child care setting
- Familiarity with ministry licensing requirements and best practices in early learning
