We are seeking a dedicated Part-Time Coding Instructor to join our educational team. This role involves teaching coding concepts and programming languages to students in a classroom setting. Duties
- Deliver engaging and interactive coding lessons tailored to various skill levels
- Develop lesson plans and instructional materials that align with curriculum standards
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their learning journey
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and participation
- Assist students with troubleshooting coding issues and understanding programming concepts
- Maintain classroom organization and ensure all teaching tools and resources are prepared for each session
- Collaborate with other instructors and staff to continuously improve program quality
Experience
- Prior classroom experience is preferred, especially in teaching or tutoring coding or computer science topics
- Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Scratch, Python, HTML/CSS is desirable
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly
- Passion for education, mentorship, and inspiring students to pursue technology-related interests
- Experience working with diverse age groups and skill levels is a plus

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
