Part-Time Housekeeper – Days Inn Chetwynd
Days Inn Chetwynd is seeking a reliable Part-Time Housekeeper to join our team.
Responsibilities Clean and prepare guest rooms to brand and hotel cleanliness standards, including making beds, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing bathrooms. Restock room supplies (towels, toiletries, linens). Report maintenance issues, damages, or safety concerns to management. Clean and maintain common areas such as hallways, lobby, and laundry facilities. Follow health, safety, and WHMIS guidelines for handling cleaning chemicals. Maintain confidentiality and respect guest privacy at all times.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred but not required; training provided. Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 25 lbs for extended periods. Strong attention to detail and time management skills. Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
Availability This is a part-time position. Shifts are scheduled across all 7 days of the week (Monday–Sunday), including weekends and holidays, on a rotating basis based on hotel occupancy. Candidates must be available to work flexible shifts, including weekends, as scheduling needs require. Exact hours/days will vary week to week and will be communicated in advance via the schedule.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.25–$20.00/hour depending on experience.
Schedule: Rotating shifts, availability required across all days of the week (Monday to Sunday)
