Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble ingredients for cooking and meal presentation
- Assist in cooking, plating, and serving dishes according to established recipes and standards
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen stations, utensils, and equipment in compliance with food safety regulations
- Handle food items safely, following proper food handling procedures
- Support the team in meal preparation during busy hours to ensure timely service
- Restock supplies and ingredients as needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Follow all health and safety guidelines to uphold a safe working environment
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of cooking techniques, food preparation, and food safety standards
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Basic understanding of food handling regulations and hygiene practices
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to various kitchen tasks
