Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Laborer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various construction tasks and the ability to work effectively with hand and power tools. This role requires a commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and the ability to collaborate with other team members on-site.
Duties
- Perform general labor tasks including but not limited to demolition, site preparation, and material handling.
- Assist in the installation of drywall, concrete forming, and finishing.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various construction projects.
- Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate project execution.
- Conduct caulking and sealing as required for different applications.
- Support electrical tasks under the supervision of licensed electricians when necessary.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency.
Skills
- Proficiency in using hand tools such as hammers, saws, drills, and wrenches.
- Experience with power tools including saws, grinders, and drills is essential.
- Familiarity with electrical systems is a plus but not mandatory.
- Ability to read blueprints accurately for effective project execution.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all tasks performed.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
- Ability to work at heights if required
