We’re looking for someone who will leverage their experience translating a wide range of content for the benefit of our extensive client portfolio.
As a seasoned translator, you will translate different types of texts of varying levels of complexity. You may also be called upon to ensure the quality of texts translated by your colleagues or our external collaborators.
- Produce turnkey, high-visibility translations that meet TRSB’s standards and our clients’ terminology and style preferences.
- Perform the basic terminology research required as part of your translation work.
- Ensure the quality of translations produced internally or through freelancers based on TRSB’s standards and our clients’ terminology and style preferences.
- Provide any coaching required to internal or external translators whose work you revise.
- Have at least three to five years’ experience in translation (experience in a translation firm or an internal translation service is a considerable asset).
- Hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in translation or a related field (membership in an accredited professional order like OTTIAQ or ATIO is an asset).
- Boast excellent proficiency in spoken and written French and English.
- Have a thirst for knowledge and a drive to excel.

- Know how to use translation tools like Trados, LogiTerm and MultiTerm.
