Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements to ensure a friendly atmosphere.
- Take accurate orders using Micros POS (Point of Sale) systems, process transactions efficiently, and handle cash or card payments with precision.
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as assembling orders or garnishing dishes to support kitchen staff when needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by following proper food handling procedures and sanitation protocols.
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve guests promptly while maintaining high-quality service standards.
- Support food safety practices by adhering to health regulations and ensuring proper food storage and handling.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, serving, cashiering, or restaurant environments is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS, for order processing and transactions.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that creates a welcoming environment.
- Knowledge of food handling, sanitation, and safety standards within the food industry.
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling and order calculations.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours efficiently.
- Kitchen experience or food preparation skills are a plus but not required; enthusiasm for learning is essential.
