Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and responsible Bus Monitor to oversee driver safety and behavior during transportation for the CNRL Shutdown project. The ideal candidate will provide attentive supervision and support to all CNRL drivers, dispatches, safety operations etc. This role is vital in maintaining a positive and safe experience for all passengers during transit.
Duties
- Monitor loading and unloading of buses at designated camps or bus stops
- Help guide passengers to proper buses
- Loading and unloading passenger for aerodromes (camp and aerodrome)
- Scanning passengers on and off buses
- Checking drivers in and calling them up on the radio to load
- Communicate with dispatch and leads with any issues
- Spot checks on buses
- Sweep/check areas confirm no passengers left behind
- Check in with leads/dispatch
Qualifications
- Highschool diploma
- Strong communication skills and the ability to manage behavior effectively
- Compassionate, patient, and attentive to passenger needs
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
Other:
- Split shifts; 8 hour days
- 14-7 rotation
- Fly in/out options for Edmonton and Calgary
- Camp provided if outside of Fort McMurray
