# Machine Operator – Meat Processing

**Salary:** $20.00 – $22 per hour (based on experience)

We are a leading meat processing company committed to producing high-quality products while maintaining the highest standards of food safety, quality, and employee safety. We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated **Machine Operator** to join our production team.
## Responsibilities
* Operate, monitor, and adjust meat processing and packaging equipment.
* Set up machines according to production requirements.
* Ensure products meet quality and food safety standards.
* Perform routine machine inspections and basic troubleshooting.
* Report equipment malfunctions to the Maintenance Department.
* Follow HACCP, GMP, CFIA, and company food safety procedures.
* Maintain accurate production records and documentation.
* Keep work areas clean and sanitized.
* Assist with production line activities as required.
* Adhere to all workplace health and safety policies.
## Qualifications
* Previous machine operating experience in a food or meat processing environment is preferred.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
* Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
* Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (23 kg).
* Comfortable working in refrigerated environments.
* Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and food safety practices is an asset.
* Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
## Working Conditions
* Cold/refrigerated production environment.
* Standing for extended periods.
* Repetitive lifting, bending, and reaching.
* Use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
