Sardis Contracting LTD, located in Chilliwack, is seeking a skilled carpenter with a strong background in cabinet installation. If you’re passionate about carpentry and looking for an opportunity to work on exciting projects, we want to hear from you!
Requirements:
3+ years experience in carpentry
Ability to read, understand, and follow job order specifications, blueprints, work instructions, and procedures
Must be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Adherence to WCB safety standards and site-specific safety requirements
Ability to take initiative and proactively manage job progress
Capable of heavy lifting (50+ lbs) and other physical tasks
Knowledge of tools, equipment, materials, and installation practices common to the carpentry trade
Familiarity with applicable building codes, standards, and regulations
Strong problem-solving and customer service skills
Valid driver’s license and basic hand tools required
Experience with drywall finishing
Open-minded, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks while communicating effectively with the team
Analytical thinker with the ability to integrate and synthesize complex information
Strong understanding and focus on high-performance building science installation details and methodologies
Ability to interpret architectural and structural drawings
Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
Must have a commitment to safety and understanding of safe work practices
