Senior Windows & Cloud Administrator
JWe are seeking an energetic and highly skilled Senior Windows & Cloud Administrator to support and evolve a complex enterprise infrastructure spanning on‑premises, virtualized, and cloud environments. This role requires deep, hands‑on expertise with Windows Server, Active Directory, VMware, Veeam, networking, and security technologies.
The successful candidate will serve as a senior technical escalation point, working closely with the Helpdesk, Tier‑1, and Tier‑2 support teams to resolve complex issues, improve service quality, and ensure the stability and security of core systems.
Core Responsibilities
Windows Server & Identity Management
- Design, administer, and support Windows Server environments (2016, 2019, 2022)
- Maintain and optimize Active Directory infrastructure, including forests, domains, trusts, and FSMO roles
- Design, implement, and troubleshoot Group Policy Objects (GPOs)
- Administer DNS, DHCP, NTP, PKI, and certificate services
Virtualization & Backup / Disaster Recovery
- Administer VMware vSphere environments (ESXi and vCenter)
- Manage VM lifecycle, performance tuning, and capacity planning
- Maintain high availability and fault tolerance
- Own Veeam Backup & Replication, including job design, monitoring, restores, and DR testing
Cloud & Hybrid Infrastructure
- Support hybrid identity and infrastructure environments
- Manage Azure resources (compute, storage, networking)
- Support Azure AD / Entra ID integration
Networking, Security & Telephony
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, UDP, DNS, DHCP, HTTP/HTTPS, TLS, VPNs
- Hands‑on experience with network switches (VLANs, trunking, routing)
- Hands‑on experience with firewalls (policy management, NAT, VPNs)
- Support enterprise phone systems / VoIP platforms
Helpdesk & Escalation Support
- Act as Tier‑3 escalation point for infrastructure incidents
- Work closely with Helpdesk, Tier‑1, and Tier‑2 teams
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance
- Create and maintain runbooks and knowledge base documentation
- Play key role in new projects
Required Skills & Experience
- 8+ years of Windows infrastructure administration
- Expert knowledge of Active Directory and Group Policy
- Strong VMware and Veeam experience
- Strong networking and firewall knowledge
- Proven experience supporting Tier‑1 and Tier‑2 teams
- Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
Tools & Technologies
- Windows Server 2016/2019/2022
- Active Directory, GPO, Azure AD / Entra ID
- VMware vSphere, ESXi, vCenter
- Veeam Backup & Replication
- Microsoft Azure and/or AWS
- Network switches and firewalls (Cisco, HP, Aruba, Fortinet, or equivalent)
- PowerShell scripting
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant Microsoft, VMware, Azure/AWS, Veeam, or firewall certifications
- Experience in enterprise or regulated environments
- Ability to coordinate complex tasks, manage project timeline, and communicate in a professional manner.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $70,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
