Ulterra’s Leduc facility has an immediate opening for a QC Inspector I

Position: QC Inspector I
Location: Leduc, Alberta, CA
Shift: Evening Shift - The primary shift will be from 4PM – 12 AM with some additional day or nights shifts to cover vacation requirements.

Position Purpose
As part of Ulterra’s Quality team, this position has responsibility for maintaining established quality objectives, with an emphasis on internal and external customer satisfaction.
Main Responsibilities:
- Product final acceptance inspections to Engineering and Manufacturing drawings and specifications.
- In-process inspection of in-house machined parts.
- Receiving Inspection of vendor-supplied parts, tools and raw materials.
- Inspection of threaded connections per API Spec 7.
- Maintain continuity of documentation from in-house and vendor manufactured product.
- Issue Non-Conformance Reports for product that does not meet company tolerances.
- Works with engineering department to obtain disposition of nonconforming products.
- Use of and ability to read monitoring and measuring equipment.
- Other duties, as required.
Required Experience & Skills:
- 1 to 2 years of related work experience or training in quality control inspection.
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office / Excel / Word).
- Strong attention to detail and organization skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
