Responsibilities:
- Perform powder coating on various metal parts and components
- Prepare surfaces for coating by cleaning, sanding, and masking as necessary
- Operate airless paint spraying equipment to apply powder coating evenly and efficiently
- Ensure proper adhesion and coverage of powder coating on all surfaces
- Monitor and adjust equipment settings to achieve desired coating thickness and finish
- Inspect finished products for quality and make any necessary touch-ups or rework
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
Experience:
- Previous experience in powder coating or related field preferred
- Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles is a plus
- Knowledge of materials handling and warehouse operations
- Ability to read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and specifications
- Experience with operating hand tools and precision measuring instruments
- Basic understanding of welding techniques is beneficial
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision
