Divisional Vice President, Ontario Retail Operations
Location: Ontario - Extensive travel across Ontario
Job type: Full-time, permanent
Base salary: $120,000-$150,000 annually
Target annual performance incentive: Approximately 25% of base salary, based on divisional and company performance
Target total cash compensation: Approximately $150,000-$190,000 annually
##The Opportunity
Cash 4 You is seeking a Divisional Vice President to lead the financial and operational performance of our Ontario retail network of 77 branch locations.
This is a manager-of-managers operating role with accountability for divisional P&L, sales, collections, customer experience, compliance, expense control, talent and consistent branch execution.
The DVP will translate company strategy into measurable operating standards, develop strong field leaders and intervene directly where branches or regions are underperforming.
This is not a remote, hybrid or conventional executive-office position. The role requires regular presence at our Cambridge headquarters, extensive travel across Ontario and direct engagement with field leaders and branch teams.
##What You Will Own
- Full financial and operating performance of the 77-location Ontario branch network.
- Sales growth, collections performance, portfolio health, customer service and expense control.
- Leadership, coaching and accountability of Field Operators and other regional leaders.
- Consistent execution of company standards across every branch.
- Identification and correction of underperforming regions, branches and leaders.
- Branch-level operating reviews, inspections and performance follow-through.
- Leadership talent pipelines, succession planning and management bench strength.
- Recruitment, development, performance management and, where necessary, separation of leaders.
- Employee engagement, retention, productivity and operating discipline.
- Execution of regulatory, compliance, risk and customer-protection requirements.
- Implementation of company initiatives, systems and operating changes across the network.
- Clear reporting on divisional performance, risks, actions and results.
##How You Will Operate
You will be expected to use operating data, branch observation and direct leadership engagement to determine what is actually happening across the division.
When performance is below standard, identifying and reporting the problem will not be sufficient. You will be expected to diagnose the cause, establish corrective action, hold the appropriate leaders accountable and remain responsible until the issue is resolved.
Where an issue requires additional authority or resources, escalation must include a clear diagnosis, the actions already taken and a recommended path forward.
##What Success Looks Like
During the first 12 months, the successful leader will:
- Establish a consistent operating and accountability rhythm across all regions.
- Improve visibility into branch-level sales, collections, productivity and profitability.
- Reduce performance variance between branches and regions.
- Strengthen the quality and accountability of Field Operators and branch leadership.
- Correct persistent execution failures rather than allowing them to become normalized.
- Build credible succession coverage for critical field and branch leadership roles.
- Demonstrate measurable improvement in divisional financial and operating results.
##Required Experience
- At least 10 years of progressive multi-location retail or branch-network leadership.
- Significant experience leading regional, district or field leaders who manage other managers.
- Demonstrated responsibility for a geographically dispersed operating network.
- Direct P&L ownership, including revenue, labour, operating expenses and profitability.
- A measurable history of improving underperforming locations or regions.
- Experience hiring, developing, performance-managing and separating management-level employees.
- Strong command of operating scorecards, KPIs, sales execution and accountability systems.
- Ability to operate effectively in a regulated, consumer-facing environment.
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively throughout Ontario.
- Valid driver's licence and reliable access to transportation.
##Preferred Experience
- Consumer lending, financial services, collections or another regulated branch environment.
- Leadership of 40 or more retail, service or financial locations.
- Experience operating in a high-growth or operational-turnaround environment.
- Experience designing and implementing repeatable operating systems across multiple regions.
