Duties
- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of gas lines, appliances, and related mechanical systems in commercial and industrial settings
- Conduct routine inspections of boilers, HVAC units, and plumbing systems to identify issues early and prevent failures
- Use schematics and technical diagrams to troubleshoot system problems accurately and efficiently
- Weld components or repair damaged piping using appropriate welding techniques to ensure system integrity
- Assist with construction projects involving gas piping or mechanical installations, adhering to safety protocols
- Diagnose mechanical issues in appliances or HVAC units and execute repairs or replacements as needed
- Maintain detailed records of service activities, inspections, repairs, and compliance documentation
Experience
- Proven experience working as a mechanic or technician with a focus on plumbing, welding, boiler systems, or HVAC equipment
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in appliance repair and maintenance tasks
- Familiarity with construction processes involving gas piping or mechanical installations
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and blueprints accurately
- Prior experience working with schematics related to gas systems or mechanical layouts is highly desirable
- Knowledge of safety standards and regulations governing gas systems and mechanical work in various environments

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
