Overview
Jarico Air Inc. has proudly served Toronto since 1996.
We are a family-owned, steadily growing HVAC company serving high-end residential and commercial clients — and we are expanding.
We are selective about who joins our team.
We are looking for an experienced HVAC professional whose strength is installation — someone who can look at a job, understand what needs to be done, plan the installation properly, and carry the work through from start to finish.
This position is ideal for a technician who is confident with both residential and light commercial HVAC installations and does not need every detail laid out for them.
What We Need Most
The ability to independently assess and complete HVAC installation work is the most important part of this position.
We are looking for someone who can:
- Look at an installation and determine the best way to complete the job
- Understand equipment placement, venting, gas, drainage, electrical requirements, ductwork and overall layout
- Identify what materials and equipment will be required
- Anticipate installation challenges before they become problems
- Complete residential and light commercial installations professionally and efficiently
- Take ownership of a job from beginning to completion
- Work independently without needing constant supervision
Equipment Experience
Experience installing and working with equipment such as:
- Furnaces
- Air conditioners
- Heat pumps
- Rooftop units
- Unit heaters
- Make-up air units
- Exhaust fans
- Fan coils
- Other residential and light commercial HVAC equipment
Service Experience
Strong service and diagnostic ability is also highly valued.
The ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment including rooftop units, furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, fan coils and other light commercial systems is a major asset.
However, the primary focus of this position is finding someone with strong installation ability who understands how to properly scope, plan and execute a job.
Requirements
- Valid G2 or G1 gas license
- Minimum 3 years HVAC experience
- Strong residential and/or light commercial installation experience
- Ability to work independently
- Strong mechanical ability
- Good understanding of HVAC systems and installation practices
- Clean driving record
- Professional workmanship and attention to detail
We Are Looking for Someone Who
- Takes ownership of their work
- Can think through a job instead of waiting to be told every step
- Solves problems when conditions in the field change
- Works neatly and professionally
- Takes pride in doing things properly
- Communicates clearly with customers and the office
- Operates with honesty and integrity
- Protects the company’s reputation as if it were their own
You do not need to know everything.
You do need to have strong HVAC experience, good judgment in the field, and the ability to take responsibility for getting an installation completed properly.
Our reputation has been built over nearly 30 years. We protect it.
What You Can Expect
- Steady, year-round work
- Residential and light commercial projects
- A wide variety of HVAC installations
- Service work for technicians with strong diagnostic ability
- A tight-knit, professional team
- Direct communication with leadership — no corporate layers
- Opportunity to take on greater responsibility as the company continues to grow
Most importantly:
- A workplace built on respect and fairness
- Clear expectations and honest communication
- Recognition for strong performance
- A company that values your contribution and treats you like a professional
We believe skilled technicians deserve to be treated properly — with appreciation, accountability, and respect.
Compensation
Compensation will reflect experience, licensing, technical ability and the level of responsibility you are capable of taking on.
A technician who can independently assess, plan and complete residential and light commercial installations is extremely valuable to us, and compensation will reflect that ability.
We understand that many of the strongest HVAC professionals are already employed. All inquiries will be treated with strict confidence.
