Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced, dedicated and compassionate Registered Dental Assistant to join our team.
Qualifications:
- Certification as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) from an accredited program.
- 2-4 years of experience in a dental practice
- Vietnamese/Tagalog speaking will be an asset.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations by ensuring cleanliness and proper equipment setup.
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures, including handing instruments, operating suction devices, and taking X-rays.
- Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment according to established protocols.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, post-treatment care, and overall dental health.
- Ensure a high level of patient care and comfort before, during, and after treatment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including proper disposal of waste materials.
