Job Summary
We are looking for a cheerful, polite, and energetic Home Support Worker to provide companionship and daily assistance for A Lovely lady. We live in a very peaceful, easygoing riverfront setting in the Cedar area. This is a relaxed household (we do have a couple of friendly dogs and a cat, so you must be pet-friendly!). This is a 6-month temporary position.
Set Schedule (13 Hours/Week)
- Monday: 9:30 AM – 12:30 PM
- Tuesday: 9:30 AM – 1:00 PM
- Wednesday: OFF
- Thursday: 9:30 AM – 12:30 PM
- Friday: 9:30 AM – 1:00 PM
- Job to start toward end of august .
Duties & Responsibilities
- Companionship & Interest Support: Provide upbeat, engaging conversation and support A lovely lady with her hobbies and daily interests.
- Cooking: Prepare light, tasty, and nutritious meals during your shift.
- Light Housekeeping: Help keep the main living areas tidy, including basic kitchen cleanup and running the Dyson over the hard floors.
Requirements
- A naturally positive, energetic, and polite personality is the most important qualification.
- Prior experience in home care, companionship, or support work is highly preferred.
- Must be comfortable and friendly around a poodle, a lab, and a cat.
- Must have reliable transportation to the Cedar area.
- Relevant healthcare certifications are an asset but not mandatory for the right personality fit.
Pay: $29.00-$33.00 per hour
