PUREWELL Medical Clinic is a Canadian telehealth clinic focused on delivering accessible, compliant, patient-centered virtual care across Canada.
We are currently seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join our clinic in a lead clinical role supporting virtual patient consultations, medical assessments, and multidisciplinary care coordination.
This is a fully remote position with flexible scheduling and significant opportunity for long-term growth as the clinic expands nationally.
The successful candidate will play an important role in helping shape clinical operations, practitioner standards, specialist coordination, and patient care systems within a modern telehealth environment.
PUREWELL serves a broad range of telehealth patients across Canada, including individuals seeking support through the medical cannabis framework, with a particular focus on veterans and patients requiring chronic pain, mental health, and other complex care services.
We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to help lead our clinical operations and provide telehealth consultations remotely. The successful candidate will play a key role in helping develop the clinic’s clinical framework, oversee patient care standards, and assist in coordinating specialists, allied healthcare professionals, and administrative personnel as the clinic grows.
We are particularly interested in speaking with Nurse Practitioners who:
- Hold registration in multiple Canadian provinces, or are interested in obtaining additional registrations
- Have experience in telehealth and virtual care
- Have experience in chronic pain, mental health, primary care, hormone therapy, or medical cannabis
- Enjoy building systems and helping shape the growth of a modern healthcare organization
The position is fully remote and offers flexible scheduling, administrative support, established patient acquisition channels, and the opportunity to participate in the long-term development of a national telehealth platform built around practitioner independence and compliant medical governance.

Responsibilities
- Conduct virtual patient consultations via telehealth
- Review patient medical histories and assess treatment eligibility
- Issue medical documents and prescriptions where clinically appropriate
- Maintain accurate and compliant medical documentation within the EMR
- Provide follow-up care and continuity of care recommendations
- Assist in developing and maintaining clinical workflows and protocols
- Coordinate with specialists, allied healthcare professionals, and administrative personnel as necessary
- Support implementation of compliant telehealth and clinical governance practices
- Exercise independent professional judgment in accordance with applicable regulatory standards
Qualifications
- Current Nurse Practitioner license in ON, AB, or BC (required)
- Licensure in additional provinces (e.g., QC, SK, MB, NL) is a strong asset
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Nurse Practitioner (virtual care experience is an asset)
- Experience in adult care, chronic pain, mental health, hormone therapy, or medical cannabis authorizations preferred
- Strong clinical judgment and patient communication skills
- Comfortable working independently in a digital/remote environment
- Experience coordinating multidisciplinary care teams is an asset
- Minimum availability of 30 hours per week
