Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Food & Beverage Manager to oversee daily operations within our hospitality establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive restaurant and food service experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves managing staff, ensuring food quality and safety standards, and maintaining a welcoming environment for guests. Prior experience in restaurant management, hospitality, or hotel settings is highly valued. The Food & Beverage Manager will play a key role in driving operational excellence and fostering a positive team culture.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily food and beverage operations to ensure high standards of service and quality.
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to maintain consistency and excellence.
- Manage staff scheduling, interviewing, training, and performance evaluations to build a motivated team.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures.
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and ensure an outstanding guest experience.
- Oversee POS systems such as Micros POS for order processing and cash handling accuracy.
- Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and control costs to optimize profitability.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to develop menus that meet guest preferences and industry trends.
- Lead by example in hospitality standards, including serving guests professionally in various settings such as restaurants or bars.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety of the food service environment in accordance with health regulations.
Experience
- Proven supervising experience in food service or restaurant management roles.
- Extensive background in food preparation, cooking, and food safety practices.
- Hands-on experience with POS systems like Micros POS; cash handling skills are essential.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with team management, interviewing, and training skills.
- Background in hospitality or hotel environments is preferred.
- Familiarity with restaurant operations including serving, barista duties, and kitchen workflows is advantageous.
- Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication skills.
