Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our vibrant culinary team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about food preparation, cooking, and delivering exceptional dining experiences. The Line Cook will be responsible for preparing ingredients, cooking dishes to specifications, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen station.
Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
- Assist in food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and portioning ingredients
- Ensure all food is handled safely and stored properly in compliance with food safety regulations
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen equipment throughout shifts
- Serve dishes promptly and accurately to ensure customer satisfaction
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy hours
- Follow all health and safety guidelines related to food handling and sanitation
- Support meal preparation for special events as needed
Requirements
- FoodSafe Certification
- Proven experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods
- Understanding of food safety standards and proper handling procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong teamwork skills with excellent communication abilities
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
