Job Title: Concrete Foreman — Flatwork & Structural
Location: St. Albert, AB
Schedule: Full Time
Our client is seeking an experienced Concrete Foreman to lead field crews on concrete construction projects throughout Alberta. The successful candidate will bring strong leadership abilities, extensive concrete construction experience, and a commitment to safety, quality, and productivity.
What's the Job?
- Lead crews performing concrete construction activities, including:
- Flatwork slabs
- Structural foundations
- Equipment pads
- Civil concrete scopes
- Interpret drawings, specifications, and foreman briefing packages.
- Coordinate daily crew activities, sequencing, materials, and equipment requirements.
- Communicate with Superintendents regarding project progress, challenges, and requirements.
- Conduct toolbox talks and promote strong safety practices.
- Monitor workmanship and ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards.
- Track daily production and proactively report issues.
- Support efficient project execution while maintaining company standards.
What's Needed?
- Minimum 7 years of concrete construction experience.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a Lead Hand or Foreman role.
- Strong experience with flatwork and/or structural concrete.
- Ability to read and interpret structural and civil drawings.
- Proven experience leading construction crews.
- Valid driver’s licence.
- Ability to obtain and maintain industrial site access requirements.
- Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship.

Preferred Assets
